Many happy memories was here from 1974 to around 1979 Mrs Goddard was head teacher with here poodle spent all my time here in shorts along with Julian Sears memories of maypole dancing and sports day back then being the only boy to win the sports day cup twice along with Ibelieve Claire Monday for the girls. Happy days...

Attended Radnage C of E scool age 4 to age 7.
Apart from Mrs Goddard, Mrs Mason and the Jnr. Class teacher I also remember Reverend. Hook coming to speak to the class: the theme of his speech was the "Hear no Evil - See no Evil - SPEAK no evil" (Three wise monkeys) and I can still remember his words today how much trouble the tongue can get us into!
Mrs Goddard used to have a small poodle that we were allowed to walk during playtime and it had a tiny plastic diamond studded colour: diamonds missing in the school playing field!
Mrs Mason reading a book aloud to us: "Gobbolino the Witches Cat" and my hiding under the desk being afraid of the evil witch in the story. The world was safer from under a desk behind Mrs Masons knees!
The Christmas school plays were great fun and the costumes were something else again: who remembers the BLUE tabby cat (Jonathan Tribe) and the Cockeral (me) on the roof of a house (a wardrobe) singing "Serenading the moon!"?
I hope the children still learn maypole dancing and that they still go out to the world with the same positve attitudes that Mrs Goddard and Mrs Mason instilled into us.

I went to radnage cof e from 1979 to around 1984. When I was there the head teacher was Mrs Goddard and reception class was Mrs Mason also another teacher called Mrs Thomas. I remeber playing rounders in the summer and then at may day we would do country dancing and the maypole. The vicar who used to help out was Rev Staines. I remeber helping to make bread the way jesus would 2000 years ago. I loved that school I have very happy memories of it and I was happy to see it still going after all these years. My worst memory is getting the slipper from Mrs Goddard for throwing grass at another girl...I don't think recent pupils would be happy experiencing that !!
